Obituary of William Harold McNally

McNALLY - William "Bill Harold McNally, late of Kelowna, BC., formerly of Regina, SK, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Estelle McNally; two sisters, Mary and Betty; one brother Reg; wife Ollie, 1998; daughter Mary 2000, Bill is survived by his two sons, Harold and Patrick of Regina; three daughters, Ruth (Ron) Eisworth of Penticton, BC, Ann (Michael) Lotosky of Toronto, ON and Jane (Glenn) Grainger of Regina; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister Ev. Bill was born and raised on the family farm near Regina. He took over the farm in 1944 after his father's sudden death and continued to be involved with the farm until his passing. He married Ollie in 1948 and raised his six children to also love the land. Next to his family and farm, he loved golf. He and Ollie traveled extensively before settling on Mesa, Arizona as a winter home. He was a dearly loved family man and respected farmer and will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers most gratefully declined.
