Obituary of Darrell Bert Schaeffer

SCHAEFFER - Darrell Schaeffer, born June 2, 1959 passed away suddenly Friday, August 15, 2008 at the age of 49. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Bert and Shirley Schaeffer; loving partner Valerie Hamilton; two sons, Deter (Ashley), Dustin (Charlene), grandson Cohen of Red Deer, Alberta; stepchildren, (Chris and Brittany) Mish of Regina; two brothers and two sisters, Deb (Lloyd) Kreklewich, Dale (Alana), Darlene (Missy) Gate, Darren (Christine), all of Regina; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Darrell was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, boating and drag racing. He dedicated his career to building the family business (Western Litho Printers) along with his brothers and sister. He was Past President of the Graphic Arts Association; an active drag racer and member of the Saskatchewan Drag Racing Association and NHRA. Darrell enjoyed what life had to offer. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Child R.C. Church, 2636 - 7th Avenue East with Rev. Eugene Schaeffer presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
