Obituary of Bertha Irene 'Joyce' Holmes

HOLMES - Bertha "Joyce September 1, 1941 - September 3, 2008 Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Stanley; children, Susan (Don) Gackle, Judy Dunsford, and William (Naomi) Holmes; grandchildren, Patricia, Jeffrey, Erika, Devin, Miranda, and Sara; great-grandchild Kazia; brother Floyd (Nellie) Lees; sister Nora (Don) Cinnamon; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ellis and Emma Lees, and John and Martha Kolenz; parents, Ellis and Gertrude Lees, and Albert and Fanny Holmes; siblings Edna (William) Koch, and Betty (Frank) Zieglgansberger. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Knox-Metropolitan United Church, 2340 Victoria Avenue (please use Victoria Avenue entrance) with Pastor Jo Mader officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
