Obituary of William Earl McKechnie

MCKECHNIE, WILLIAM EARL - We are sad to announce that our much loved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Bill, has passed away on September 9, 2008 at the age of 93 . He was predeceased by all of his brothers and sisters: Vi, Al, Blanche, Marion, Mort, Stan and Pat; and his first wife Anna-Britt. He is survived by his wife Elva; children: Murray (Denise), Paula, Rich (Pat); grandchildren: Nicole (Glen), Rejeanne, Justine, Emily, Mark (Jayne), Paul (Richelle), Rikki (Andrew); and great-granddaughter Olivia. At Bill's request there will be no funeral. A memorial luncheon and gathering of family and friends will be held at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre Volunteer Room (across from the chapel), 2180 23rd Avenue, Regina from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2008. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful staff on 3-5 Veterans Wing Wascana Hospital.
