Obituary of Mary Margaret Barth

BARTH - On Saturday, September 13, 2008, Mary Margaret Barth (nee Fellner), late of Regina, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years. Mary was predeceased by her parents Henry and Anna; husband Adam (1992), brother Nick (1990); sister-in-law Kay Hein and brothers-in-law Albert Hein and Clayton Seidler. She is survived by her children Don (Gyneth) and Gary Barth of Regina; grandchildren Doneane (John) Papandreos, Michael (friend Claudette) Barth of Regina, David (Shawna) Barth of North Battleford and Trisha (Jamie) Passmore of Moose Jaw; great grandchildren James-Thomas (J.T.) and Stefano Papandreos, Matthew, Daniel, Nathan and Jared Barth, Brandon and Justin Passmore and step great granddaughter Jessica; sisters-in-law, Mary Fellner and Barbara Seidler as well as nieces and nephews. Mary was born on September 11, 1915 in Khedive, Saskatchewan. After they were married, Mary and Adam lived and worked on the farm at Pangman until 1966 when they moved to Regina. Mary enjoyed baking and playing cards, however, her greatest joy in life was always found in her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid curling fan and a huge Saskatchewan Roughrider supporter. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King R.C. Church, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina, with the Very Reverend Tonny Dizy presiding. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Avenue E. The family wishes to thank Dr. Lok and the care-givers at the Extendicare Sunset in Regina for their excellent care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 - 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
