Obituary of Yvonne Rosalie Norwig

NORWIG - Yvonne. Surrounded by her children and extended family, Yvonne Rosalie "Ebin Norwig (Genereux), age 52, passed from this world peacefully on October 3, 2008 at Grace Hospice, Regina, Sask. Yvonne was born to Alfred and Marjorie Genereux on October 9, 1955 in Saskatoon, Sask. Predeceased by her father Alfred, Yvonne's life will be remembered and celebrated by her children Kyle (Kelly), Adam, Heidi and their father Randy Norwig; new granddaughter Lexie; life partner Dennis Miller; mother Marjorie Genereux; siblings Kathy Genereux, Judy (Dwight) Punshon, Allen Genereux (Brenda Krohn), Barb Stef (Kyle Kilbreath), Diane (Barney) Kozakewycz; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephew; as well as many special friends. A Celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 with Darrell Reine officiating. The family expresses gratitude and appreciation for the care and support provided to Yvonne by the Palliative Home Care Team and Palliative Care Unit, Pasqua Hospital. We will be forever grateful to the exemplary staff at the Grace Hospice for the caring atmosphere, compassionate support, and excellent nursing care. A very special thank you to nurses Lynn, Diane, and Marilyn for walking with us through the last hours of Yvonne's life journey.
