Obituary of Marie Yvonne Reid

MARIE YVONNE REID December 8, 1921 October 7, 2012 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Marie, who passed away peacefully during the night at her home, William Albert House. She was predeceased by her husband Dwight in 2002; parents Romeo and Aline Bessette; sister Mel Filteau; and brother Adrian Bessette. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Pat (Doug) Strinja and children Chris and Kim (Jay Ott) and Darlene Reid (Denis Mondor); as well as several nephews and a niece. Private family service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Speers Funeral Chapel. A family interment will be held at a later date in Winnipeg, MB. In earlier years, Marie loved her country music, horseback riding and football games, but especially family. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301 2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK, S4P 3X1 or a charity of your choice.
