Obituary of Barry Patrick Riess

RIESS, BARRY - On October 5, 2008 Barry passed away at the age of 50 years with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Barry was predeceased by his parents Frank and Helen Riess, and his brother Jerry. Left to cherish his memory is his life partner Nancy, his sons Barrett and Bennett, stepson John, brothers Del (Carol), Neil (Carol), and sister Sandra (Myron) and nieces Kelly, Jessica, Nicole, Danielle and nephews Mikael, Charlie, Daniel and Ryan. Till we meet again, Barry, you will always be in our hearts. Barry was a long time member of Local 179 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Casey for his compassionate and professional care of Barry while he was sick and to the staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Little Flower R.C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Bill Mahoney presiding. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
