Obituary of Peter Zerr

PETER ED? ZERR On Sunday October 7, 2012, Ed passed away at the age of 82. He was born August 14, 1930, one of eight children to Adam and Clementine. Ed grew up on the family farm east of Regina and spent his adult life in Regina where he worked various jobs and was an active member of the community and Holy Cross Parish. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 48 years, Emma who passed away in 2002. Ed was also predeceased by his son Garth; daughter-in-law Susan; and son-in-law Dennis. He was an affectionate father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Ed leaves behind his daughter Elaine; son Philip (Gail); grandsons Ben (Christine), AJ (Shaela), Ian (Julie), Ryan (Kristen), and Shaun (Amanda); granddaughters Rachel (Keith), and Laura (Chad). He was also great-grandfather to Emma, Austin, Elijah and twins Matthew and Brooke. Eds family and wide circle of friends will cherish his memory as a loving, patient, and generous man with a great love of music - his accordion - and his warm, joyous, and gentle nature. A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held at Holy Cross R.C. Church, 315 Douglas Avenue East, Regina, SK on Friday October 12, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
