Obituary of Lydia McDonald

McDONALD - Lydia McDonald, late of Regina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, one week prior to her ninetieth birthday. Predeceased by her parents, Fred and Minnie Leonhardt; six brothers; three sisters; grandson Jamie McDonald; great-granddaughter Maliah Howden. Lydia is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Bill; son Garth (Annabelle) of Sherwood Park, AB; daughter Minnie Lou (Norman) Howden of Balgonie; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; six sisters-in-law; and one brother-in-law. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Balgonie Multiplex, Balgonie, SK. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
