Obituary of Geraldine Hazel Houston

Gerry Houston May 18, 1933 - October 8, 2008 It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry Houston (Biggart). Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Biggart, and her daughter Janice. Gerry is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 53 years, David; her son Jay; and daughter Traci. Gerry loved sports of all kinds and in her youth was very active in tennis and basketball. She was also very involved in ten-pin bowling and was a long time member of the Tor Hill Ladies Golf Club, but anyone who knew Gerry knew that her passion was the Saskatchewan Roughriders. As per Gerry's request there will be an open gathering at the Masonic Columbarium, Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. (please wait inside the gate). A reception at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. will follow. Everyone is invited to come to either one or both and celebrate her life.
