MARGARET ELSIE LYNCH January 8, 1915 October 8, 2012 Margaret passed away peacefully at the William Booth Special Care Home, on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 97 years of age. She was born to Robert and Margaret (Verner) Patterson in Indian Head, Saskatchewan on January 8, 1915 and raised on a farm overlooking the beautiful QuAppelle Valley and Lake Katepwa. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker with special talents in meal preparation and interior design. She was an accomplished seamstress and made the most imaginative Halloween costumes ever. Throughout the years, Margaret served on many church committees. A quote by her encapsulates how she was able to live her life devoted to others, I never expect perfection of others.? Margaret was predeceased by her husband of fifty-five years, Alan on October 20, 1993; her parents; and her three sisters and three brothers. Margaret is survived by her five children, Garry of Regina, Lorne (Faye) of Moose Jaw, Candyce Lynch-Waitley (Norm) of Olathe, Kansas, James of Regina and Donovan of Nimbin, New South Wales, Australia; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister-in-law Joan Patterson as well as many caring nieces and nephews. Margaret taught her children not to judge others and to celebrate people for who they are. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
