TIEFENBACH - On Wednesday, October 15, 2008 (Catherine) Edythe Tiefenbach (Berry) passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband, George; her parents, Thomas Berry and Jane Lowther; sister Elizabeth (Betty) Vair; brother Mark Berry; infant son Frederick. Survived by her children: Wilf (Carole), children, Tami (Jeff), Joel, Troy; Wayne (Teresa), children, Shayne, Brenda (Kelly), Carma (Rob), Chantel (Andrew), Sheri (Greg), Brian, Krista (Danny); Texando (Terry), children, Kayla, Jody (Ken); Larry (Judy), children, Tricia (Tom), Adam (Danielle); Barry (Donna), children, Shauna, Jason (Cathy), Tanya (Jason); Morgan (Johanna), children, Christopher, Tigh, Kevin, Alden; Jane; Carol (Dave) Stulberg, children, Amanda (Duane), Nicolas, Jacob (Meaghan); Gene (Doran), children, Jason (Sheryl), Karyn (Shawn), Becky, Kyle; Marina (Terry) Dovell, children, Calvin, Kelsey; 34 great-grandchildren; brothers: Myron, Morgan (Marge); sisters-in-law: Newana, Olga, Edna; brothers-in-law, Elmer (Jean), Eugene (Ann); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was born November 29, 1923 in Cardston, AB. She grew up on a farm and had a love for horses. She enrolled in the CWAC (Canadian Women's Army Corp) in September, 1942 where she served three years in the army where she met our dad. They lived in Cardston and Balgonie, finally settling in Regina until their retirement on the farm at Zehner. After George's passing Mom settled back in Regina, where she spent her last 20 years. She was very involved with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a missionary in the Los Angeles Mission for one year. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They and her extended family were the most important things in her life. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 550 Sangster Boulevard, Regina with President E. Gregg Wood officiating. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined.
