Obituary of Alex Herbert Douglas

DOUGLAS - Alex Douglas of Regina, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the age of 79 years. Alex was born and raised on a farm near Minnedosa, Manitoba on January 1, 1929. He attended the University of Manitoba and graduated with a degree in Agriculture in 1951. For many years he worked as Sales Manager for J.I. Case Company in Regina and later in Yorkton. Towards the end of his career he worked for Big Bud Tractors and Nelson Homes. Alex enjoyed fishing, hunting, curling, golfing and woodworking. He is survived by his sons Craig (Collene), and Murray; daughters Shirley (Jerome Coupal) and Sharon (Joep Beurskens); grandchildren Taylor, Chelsea, Dylan, Matthew, and Claire; sister Irene (Al Peden); brothers Bob, Jack (Carole), and Harvey (Joyce). Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina.
