Obituary of Annie Szabo

SZABO - On Tuesday, November 11, 2008, Annie Szabo, late of Regina, passed away at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Mary Bencze; her husband, Mike in 1979 and infant son, Roy as well as her brothers, Steve, Peter and sister, Mary. Annie is survived by one son, Mike, (Marge) and one daughter, Gloria, (Bob) Sziva; five grandchildren: Denise (Toye) Oyelese, Valerie (Kollin) Erichsen, Darren Szabo, Kevin (Jennifer) Sziva, Kimberley Sziva,(fianc Paul); seven great-grandchildren, Dejo and Dele Oyelese, Matthew, Sarah, and Marshall Erichsen, Krystin and Trenin Sziva, also one brother, John (Leona) Bencze and several nephews and nieces. The family would like to sincerely thank the following - the residents at Devonshire Manor, the staff of Pioneer Village, as well as the staff and Doctors at the Regina Pasqua Hospital for all their acts of care and kindness towards Annie. Prayers will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. and Funeral Mass on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family R.C. Church, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. N., Regina, SK. with Rev. Brad Fahlman as Celebrant. Interment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations, in memoriam, may be sent to a charity of choice.
