Obituary of George Charlebois

GEORGE CHARLEBOIS April 3, 1950 October 12, 2012 George passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the age of 62. Born in Regina and raised in Southwest SK, he was the only son of Ray and Cora Charlebois. George is survived by his two sisters, Greta (David) Allen of Regina and Marguerite Morden of Nanaimo, BC; and nephew, Adam (Marla) Morden of Hamilton, ON. He was a graduate of the U of S, Saskatoon (archeology and anthropology). George also held a masters degree in Library Science from McGill University, Montreal, QC. He worked at the National Library in Ottawa for 17 years and returned to Regina to assume the position of Manager of the Resource centre at RCMP Depot Division. Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina SK on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 7:00 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin de Porres R.C. Church, 4720 Castle Road, Regina, SK on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Friends so wishing may make a donation in memoriam to a charity of your choice.
