Obituary of Lawrence Henry Gorski

GORSKI - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather and brother, Lawrence (Red) Gorski on August 12th at the age of 72 years. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Mary; brother Ernie; step-mothers Elizabeth and Katie; father-in-law Julius Beres. He leaves to mourn his wife of 34 years, soul mate and caregiver, Evelyn; son Rob (Kim) of London, England, precious grandson Ivan and his pal Taila; also brothers Ralph (Gladys), Bill (Elaine) of Regina; sister Phyllis (Bill) Gould of Sundre, AB; mother-in-law Irene Beres of Bangor, SK; sisters-in-law Sally Gorski, Bernice (Merv) Glowa and Barb DeRosse; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family extends a special thank you to the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care staff, Myrna, Barb and Morgan, Dr. McMillan, Dr. Mbanza, staff of 4A at the Pasqua Hospital, especially Judy. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Little Flower R. C. Church, 420 College Avenue with Rev. Bill Mahoney presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
