Obituary of John Hilton Campbell

CAMPBELL, JOHN HILTON (JERRY) of Milestone, formerly of Corinne, SK, died peacefully at the age of 73 after fighting a 25-year battle against Emphysema with fortitude and tenacity. Predeceased by his parents; two brothers; two sisters; four brothers-in-law; and a special granddaughter, Lisa Donovan. He is lovingly survived by his wife of 54 years, Bina; daughters Coy (Cliff) Strickland, Ida (Randy) Donovan; grandchildren Bill, Mike (Nicole), Vicki and Kelly Strickland, Dave (Rhea) Donovan; great-grandchildren Woody, Riley, Kennedy, Jamie and Chase; three sisters, two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jerrys life will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in Milestone United Church with Rev. Kevin Johnston officiating. Interment of ashes in Milestone Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerrys honor may be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association, 1231 - 8th Street E., Saskatoon S7H 0S5.
