Obituary of Emma Viola Allen

ALLEN - Emma Theresa Viola (nee Molleken) passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2006 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Richard Henry Allen of 47 years and partner William Charles Marsh of 22 years, her parents, John and Lena Molleken; sister and husband, Eva and Pete Davidson; and brother John Molleken, Jr. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter Lorraine and husband Ried Nelson, Regina, SK, and granddaughter Teresa and husband Paul Royal, Scottsdale, Arizona, as well as many nieces and nephews. Viola was born in Milestone, May 28, 1911 and lived there until she was married to Dick in 1930. During the 30s they lived in Alberta and then lived in Trail, BC in the late 30s and 40s. They moved back to the Molleken farm in 1949 where she resided until retirement and then moved into the town of Milestone. Dick passed away in 1978 and from 1981 - 2003 Viola spent her time living between Lewiston, Idaho and Milestone, with her partner William Marsh, until his passing in 2003. Viola then lived in Regina for the last three years. The family wishes to acknowledge all the care and support that the staff of the Wascana Heights Home gave to Viola. Also, we thank the staff at Ward 6F of the Regina General Hospital for their care for the last three days of Violas life. The family has decided that there will be no Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing, may make donations in Violas memory to a charity of their choice.
