Obituary of Orlando Ugolini

UGOLINI, Orlando - With great sadness the family of Orlando Ugolini announces his passing on September 7th, 2006. Orlando was predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Filomena Ugolini; his brother Adamo; and sisters Elena and Maria. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Wanda; sisters Ines and Paolina; and three children Remo, Laura and Paul. Orlando was born in Pennabilli, Italy on June 18, 1922. He served in the Alpini regiment and the Italian National Police. Orlando moved to Belgium to work in the coal mines till he emigrated to Canada in 1955. He moved to Regina and worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway till his retirement, after 28 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement as an avid gardener. A prayer service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in Canadian Martyrs R. C. Church, 1932 - 1st Avenue North, Regina with Rev. Peter Nwanekezie presiding.
