Obituary of Freda Lilian Nickels

NICKELS - Freda Lilian Nickels died on September 9, 2006 at the age of 92 years. Born in Regina in 1914, she resided in the house she was born for 87 years and spent the last five years at the Marian Chateau. Predeceased by her parents, Bertha and Joseph Nickels; her sister, Hazel Powless; and her special friend, George Birtwhistle. Freda is survived by her nieces, Doreen (Don) Hayes, Lyn Jeske (Frank), Bill Powless, Ken (Dorothy) Powless and her cousin, Hilda Jensen. Freda worked at Sears for over 40 years. She had many friends from her working days and good friends at the Marian Chateau. Special thanks to Drs. Clein and McMillan and the caring staff at the William Booth Wascana Grace Hospice.
