Obituary of Elsie Slinn

SLINN - Elsie Slinn, late of Regina, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2006 at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by her husband William Charles; six sisters; five brothers; son Eugene David; one grandson; one great granddaughter, Elsie is survived by her four children, Joyce Gardner and Morley Slinn of Regina, Dennis Slinn (Judy) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Grace (Al) Melnyk of Kindersley, SK; daughter-in-law Margaret Slinn of Coquitlam, BC; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend Rosemarie Hewson of Langbank, SK. Elsie catered at Regina Golf Club and the Curladrome Curling Club for many seasons. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in Pioneer Village Nursing Home Chapel, 430 Pioneer Drive, with Rev. Jim Balfour officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers most gratefully declined.
