Obituary of Leona Frances Kornberger

KORNBERGER, Leona (nee Muchowski) - It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Leona F. Kornberger on September 30, 2006 at the age of 72 years at the Regina General Hospital following a courageous battle with a critical short term illness. Leona was predeceased by her parents, Victoria and Leo Muchowski and her husband Conrad. Leona enjoyed golfing, shopping with her sisters, and was an avid fan of the Blue Jays. Her greatest gift was her love for her family. Left to cherish her memory is her son Robin (Sheri), grandchildren Jenna and Jayden; daughter Debbie (special friend Brian); sisters, Joyce Ritsco, Margie (Gabe) Schwab; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Charles R. C. Church, 1171 Broder Street, Regina with Rev. Peter Nwanekezie presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
