Obituary of Irene Elizabeth (Bette) Bracey

BRACEY - Irene Elizabeth (Bette) Bracey (nee Aitken), age 82 years, late of Regina, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Predeceased by her husband Leo Bracey; parents Robert and Mona (nee Coltart) Aitken; brothers Thomas and Robert; and stepmother Pauline (nee Gies) Aitken. Bette is survived by her brothers Vince (Sylvia) of Regina, Doug (Rita) of Vancouver, Ken (Carole) of Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; stepdaughter Maureen (John) Sabourin; grandchildren, Angle (Scott) Borys, Rene (Derrick) Goulet, Launa (Brian) Atamanchuk, Shane (Tania) Sabourin; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Katherine Zazulak. Bette served with the Royal Canadian Air Force from July 22, 1942 to August 22, 1946 - with two years overseas. She was employed with Robert Simpsons for over 25 years. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 16th from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
