Obituary of Mary Margaret Toderan

TODERAN - Mary Margaret Toderan passed away peacefully on October 29, 2006 at Courtesy Care Home, where she was residing in Regina for the past 1 years. Prior to that she was totally independent. She was born on July 19, 1913 to Maria and Zaria Toderan who predeceased her. Mary was also predeceased by her sisters, Annie and Minnie and her brothers, John, Peter and Zeddie. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends and former students. Mary was a teacher for most of her life. She taught in various places in Saskatchewan such as Stoughton/Kisbey, Lajord, Pense, McLean and the last school she taught at was Wascana School in Regina. She was loved by her students. Mary had a great love for Art and Music. She made many drawings and gave them away as gifts. We would like to express our appreciation and sincere gratitude to Angelita, Emmanuel, Willie and Marie of Courtesy Care Home for the excellent care they gave to Mary while she was a resident there. They treated her like a family member with much love and attention. A Funeral Service will be held for Mary at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3720 Hill Avenue, Regina on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Darren Godsoe officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Curtis Horne Christian School, 3718 Hill Avenue, Regina S4S 0X5.
