Obituary of Stephen Malynyk

MALYNYK, Stephen Steve peacefully passed away on the morning of Monday, November 20, 2006 at the age of 77. Steve leaves to mourn his three children, Linda (David) Wolvansky, Allan Malynyk and Sharon (Mike) Chambers; as well as three granddaughters, Sarah and Alana Wolvansky and Paige Chambers. Steve is also survived by his sisters Helen Cymbalisty and Evelyn Smith; and his brother Henry Malynyk; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and John; and his sisters Nora Rubletz and Elsie Hyrhoriw. Steve had been a resident of Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for almost ten years. He was involved in many activities and became quite accomplished at ceramics. He loved playing a good game of cribbage and enjoyed listening to Blue Grass music. Steve was in the service industry for many years at Coca-Cola, and then later in the parts industry at Sears until he retired in 1985. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2006 in Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, 2180 - 23rd Avenue, Regina.
