Obituary of Violet Francis Bradley

BRADLEY - On Wednesday, November 22, 2006, Violet Francis Bradley, formerly of Marion Chateau, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her parents Scott and Annie Bradley; sister Inez (Ted) Davis; two brothers Eric (Ruby) Bradley and Ken (Ida) Bradley; brother-in-law Stuart Eisnor; nieces Cindy Lee Eisnor, Reta Smith; nephew Jack (Alice) Bradley. Violet is survived by her sister Doris Eisnor; sister-in-law Irene Martins; nieces Karen Davis, Joan (Lindsay) Anderson; nephews Don (Linda) Eisnor, Glen (Joyce) Eisnor, Rick (Arlene) Eisnor; also loved by numerous great-nieces, nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Violet taught at Reimche School, Glenarchy School, Weslake and Garden Head. She moved to Toronto for a short while then moved back to Saskatchewan and taught in the Regina View School district. Violet worked for the Government of Canada until her retirement. After her retirement she continued with university, painting and writing courses as well as traveling extensively in her continuing quest for knowledge and enjoyment of life. Cremation will take place at Violets request. A Celebration of Violets life will be held on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. David Hoffman officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her parents in a private family interment in Woodrow Cemetery, Woodrow, SK. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 - 2nd Avenue, Regina S4R 1A6 or to a charity of choice.
