Obituary of Bruce Douglas Harper

HARPER, Bruce Douglas - passed away suddenly on Friday, November 24, 2006 at the age of 82 years. He is predeceased by his daughter Janis and brothers Marvin and Marriott. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Helen; son-in-law Jim, Erin (Jason) and Amy; son David (Deb), Virginia and Holly; daughter Nancy (Eugene), Kelsey and Jason; and his brother Keith (Bee); brothers-in-law Len (Dee) and Charlie; sister-in-law Norma; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bruce and Helen had a cottage at Regina Beach for twenty-six years and were so very pleased to become permanent residents at the beach at retirement. He played most week days on the golf course and was the local pool shark down at the hall. They had a wide range of friends acquired through the Armories, square dancing, darts and golfing. He always enjoyed a good rum and coke. A private memorial service will be held.
