Obituary of Jean Watson

JEAN WATSON Jean, late of Regina, SK, at the age of 80, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Monday, October 22, 2012, from a terminal lung disease and non-hodgkins lymphoma. She was born on July 13, 1932 in Didsbury, AB. Jean moved to Regina and worked at Canadian Propane where she met Bob, her loving husband. After raising their family, Jean returned to the work force by joining ReMax in the early 1980's as a receptionist and enjoyed many fulfilling years there. She was predeceased by her mother, Elsie (Shantz) Scott of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, and father, Steven Jancsek, and stepmother, Dorothy Jancsek of Yorkton. Jean is survived by her husband Bob; and their children, Karen Conly (Don) of Regina, Leslie Relke (Dave) of Calgary, Brad Watson (Amy) of Denver and Craig Watson (Angela) of Regina. She also leaves her grandchildren, Joshua Fink (Shannon), Michael Fink (Diana), and Russ Conly of Regina, Erica Conly of Toronto, Nathan and Cameron Relke of Calgary, Reid and Genabeth Watson of Denver and Hayley Watson of Regina; as well as great-grandsons Cayden Cheung and Benjamin Fink of Regina. Jean is also survived by her stepfather, George Scott of Fort Saskatchewan AB; her brother, Bob Jancsek (Sheila) of Edmonton; and nephews, Kent Jancsek (Cheryl) of Stony Plain and Jim Jancsek (Robyn) of Edmonton and their families. She also is survived by an uncle, step-sisters and cousins. Jean also leaves many cherished friends, whom she considered a part of her family. A Celebration of Jeans Life will be held at Living Spirit Centre, 3018 Doan Drive, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Jean kindly requested donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Canada (www.cysticfibrosis.ca) in honour of Kenny Turner.
