Obituary of Elaine Lena Miller

MILLER, Elaine (nee Lawrek) With sadness and thanksgiving for a long and faithful life, the family wishes to announce Elaines peaceful passing at the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Tony and her children Carol (Pat) Kuntz and Karen (Brian) Varin of Regina, Bob Miller of Winnipeg, Leonard (Beatrice) Miller and Keith (Kim) Miller of Calgary; as well as her daughter-in-law Linda Miller of Winnipeg. Her grandchildren Melissa Kuntz, Daniel Varin, Davis Varin, Mark Miller, Jessica (Ryan Tom) Kehoe, Chris (Nadine) Miller, Chad (Anita) Miller, Jason Miller, Reid Miller, Ryan Miller and Cole Miller; great-grandchildren Jade Miller, Thomas Miller, Mogen Miller, Matthew Miller and Rowan Kehoe; brothers Joe (Olga) Lawrek, Fred (Marlene) Lawrek, Bill Lawrek; sister-in-law Katie Lawrek; as well as many caring nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her parents Theodore (Fred) and Lena Lawrek; brothers John, Peter and Frank; her sisters Mary Lawrek, Ann McBain and Kathleen Shewchuk. A sincere thank you to Drs. Messer, Wrobel, McHattie, Abdulla and Clein as well as the Pasqua Hospital Nurses in Units 3F and Palliative Care for your dedicated and compassionate care and attention to our loved one. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Little Flower R. C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Bill Mahoney presiding. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
