Obituary of Kelly George Allen

ALLEN - Kelly George Allen of Regina chose to be with the Lord on December 8, 2006 at the age of 32 years. Predeceased by his father George William Allen in 2003; his grandparents Hans and Lovern Broten and George L. Allen; and good friend Darcy Zaluski. Kelly is survived by his mother Donna; sisters Vicky and niece Reyna, Karen Dueck and Loraine (Allen) MacDonald and nieces Nicole, Sarah and Deane; aunts and uncles Anita (Kenneth) Hall, Pauline (Don) Paterson, Chris (Anne) Broten, Sheryl (David) Rosom, and John (Peggy) Allen; as well as numerous cousins. Kelly was born in Regina and went to school in Regina and Milestone. He spent a lot of time on the family farm at Milestone where he acquired his love of machinery and all things mechanical. He was happiest when he was working with machinery and in fact was an accomplished welder. He truly enjoyed the rural way of life. Kelly was in a serious car accident in 1998 that changed the course of his life. He was a quiet, kind and gentle person with a great sense of humor and loved the warmth and activity of being surrounded by family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 14th at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Pastor David Wells officiating.
