Obituary of William Gerald Logan

LOGAN, William (Bill) Gerald, born in Fredericton NB in 1928, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Christmas Day, 2006. Bill is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary; his children, Sandy (Brian) of North Battleford SK, David (Deedee) of Winnipeg MB, Joan (Graeme) of Townsville, Australia, Elizabeth (Tony) of Saskatoon SK; grandchildren, Kris (Jane) Logan, Karie (Jason) Nothof, Kathryn (Jason) Fuhr; and two great-grandchildren, Atleigh and Lander Fuhr. He will be greatly missed. Bill was a member of the RCMP for 25 years, then practiced law with the Canadian Wheat Board in Winnipeg and the Attorney Generals Department in Regina until his retirement in 1985. He was an infamous letter writer and wore out a number of typewriters at work and at home. He was well-liked and respected by many. At Bills wish, there will be no funeral. There will be a family interment at the RCMP Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends, so wishing, may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert Street, Regina SK, S4R 2P6, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 2nd Avenue, Regina SK, S4T 1A6, or to The Cancer Research Society, #305-200 Isabella Street, Ottawa ON, K1S 1V7. The family would like to thank all the caring friends and neighbours for their support.
