Obituary of Cecelia Foley

CECELIA FOLEY 1908 - 2007 Cecelia (Byrne) Foley passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2007. Her husband, Joseph McLean Foley, predeceased her in 1988. Cecelia was the daughter of James Vincent and Cecily (Barker) Byrne of Winnipeg, Manitoba, formerly of Staffordshire, England. She was the third of five children born to James Byrne, all of whom predeceased her. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters Sandra (Frank Flegel) of Regina, SK and their five children and nine grandchildren - Linda of Surrey, BC; Brian (Leslie) Jarrett, Adam, Bethany of High River, AB; David (Christina) Joanna, Megan, Emily of Regina, SK; Lisa (James Palmarin) Francesco, Zachary, Jacob of Lethbridge, AB; Ian of Regina, SK; Lynne (Wayne Thiele) of Regina, SK and their four daughters and seven grandchildren - Shannon (Douglas Mutschler) Christina, Matthew, Michael of Regina, SK; Susanne (Bruce Boa) of Regina, SK; Mary Ellen (Juan Messer) Angela, Erin, Jack, of Sherwood Park, AB; Patti-Lynne (Jonathon McLeod) Phoenix of Regina, SK; Patricia (Robert Young) of Ottawa, ON and their three children and two grandchildren - Deborah (Michael McLean) Samantha and Joseph of Kanata, ON; Timothy of Vancouver, BC; Katherine of Ottawa, ON. The family of Cecelia are deeply appreciative to all the staff on the 2nd and 4th floors at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home for the care and kindness shown Cecelia during her stay there. We are especially grateful for the excellent care, kindness and compassion shown to both Cecelia and her family during Cecelias final hours. A private memorial service and interment will be held at a future date. If family and friends wish, in lieu of flowers, a donation to Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home, 4215 Regina Avenue, Regina S4S 0J5 may be made as a token of remembrance.
