Obituary of Mary Joyce Lemon

LEMON - On Monday, January 1, 2007 Mary Joyce Lemon passed away at the age of 74 years. Predeceased by her younger sister Tannis and youngest daughter Kathleen. Joyce is survived by her husband of 55 years, John (Jack); daughters Celia Almedia (Guy Sinclair) of Winnipeg, Loveday Lee (Larry) and Nancy Lemon (Craig Monteith) of Regina; son Richard Lemon of Zehner; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Joyce was born in Winnipeg, MB on October 21, 1932. She took her early education there, then at 15 began working to help support her family. At 19 she moved to Saskatchewan to marry Jack. Jack and Joyce raised five children on their farm near Zehner. Joyce was active in the A.C.W., Sweet Adelines, gardening, her church and choir, as well as being Jacks helpmate and best friend. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in St. James Anglican Church, 1105 Empress Street, Regina with Rev. Joyce Hilton officiating. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to a charity of choice.
