Obituary of Alice Isted

ISTED - On Wednesday, January 3, 2007, Alice Isted passed away peacefully, five days short of her 95th birthday, with her children by her side. Alice was predeceased by her husband George in 1996; her parents Alice and John Hiscock; her brother Jack; sister Elizabeth; and daughter-in-law Alison. Mom leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her gentle and sweet spirit, her children, sons Herb (Joyce) of Calgary, Jim, Doug (Kim), Wayne (Sandy) of Regina, Art (Lynn) of Penticton; daughters Betty (Len) Hackewich and Rose (Ron) Sharpe of Regina; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Vic (Elma) Isted; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and her many friends at Sunset Extendicare. We are all thankful for the heritage of love Mom has given us. Alices family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at Sunset Extendicare for their care of Mom. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Matthews Anglican Church, 2161 Winnipeg Street, Regina with Rev. Blair Dixon officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to a charity of choice.
