Obituary of Ann Marie King

KING - Ann Marie King (Buckley) of Regina passed away peacefully on January 9, 2007 with family at her side. Ann was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Thomas King; parents Lee and Inez Buckley; and five brothers. Ann will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her five children, Marilyn (Larry) Morton, James (Vallerie) King, June (Rick) Domokos, Donna (Glenn Yalowega) King and Dianne (John) Harmon; ten grandchildren, Craig (Kristine), Leah, Robert and Carolyn Morton, Lisa and Ryan King, Shay and Keith Yalowega, Riley and Jack Harmon; four great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. Ann loved being with her family and she leaves them a wonderful legacy of love and kindness. Ann was born in Newcastle, New Brunswick on July 16, 1923. Upon Toms retirement from the RCAF in 1963 they moved to Regina where Ann and Tom combined their many interests and formed their own business, Kings Gifts, which they enjoyed for many years. Special thanks to David and Heidi DSilva and all the loving people who work and live at Silva Care Home where Ann lived for the past few years. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be most appreciated. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina with Rev. Anthony F. Dizy presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
