Obituary of Joseph Harold McFarland

McFARLAND - On Monday, January 15, 2007 J. Harold McFarland passed away at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Amy and an infant brother William Alan. He leaves to mourn his wife, Marie and their four children: Kathie (Scott Bury) and Ken (Claudette Claereboudt) of Regina; Janet (David Parkinson) and James of Toronto; also three grandchildren: James (Naomi) and Nicole Pendrigh; and Eric Parkinson; and sister Helen Bailey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was born in Regina and grew up on the family farm near Pilot Butte. He moved into Regina in 1947 where he worked as a salesman until retirement in 1984. Much of his career was in advertising sales at CKCK-TV and the Leader Post. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in Christ the King R. C. Church, 3239 Garnet Street with Rev. Jose Periyilkatte presiding, followed immediately by a reception for friends and family in the parish hall. There will be a private burial at a later time. Flowers most gratefully declined.
