Obituary of John Clark Lemon

LEMON - On Thursday, January 18, 2007, John Clark (Jack) Lemon passed away at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his wife Joyce on January 1, 2007, older brother Ben and youngest daughter Kathleen. Jack is survived by his daughters, Celia Almeida (Guy Sinclaire) of Winnipeg, Loveday Lee (Larry) and Nancy Lemon (Craig Monteith) of Regina; son Richard Lemon of Zehner; one grandson Michael; eleven granddaughters, Sheri, Cinda, Chris, Carissa, Joyce, Nataline, Raquel, Jamie, Reena, Crystal and Heather, as well as seven great grandchildren. Jack was born in Regina on May 17, 1929. He was raised and spent most of his life in the Etaples community. At the age of 22 he married Joyce, took over the family farm, north of Zehner, and quickly started a family. Together, they raised five children and many crops. Jack semi retired in 1990 and moved to Regina in 1991. However, he continued to be active in the Etaples community and the farm. Jack and Joyce spent a number of wonderful winter holidays in Hawaii. Although, Jack was a man of few words, he was a pillar of strength, always there for his family and anyone else in need. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in St. James The Apostle Anglican Church, 1105 Empress Street, Regina, with Rev. Joyce Hilton officiating. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to a charity of choice.
