Obituary of Velma Daku

DAKU - On Wednesday, January 24, 2007, Velma Daku passed away at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1986; parents, John and Velma Kish; one sister, Irene Larrive; two brothers, John and Emil Kish; two grandsons, Adam Kuhn and Matthew Taylor. Velma is survived by two daughters, Hilda Kuhn of Melville and her children, William and Monica; Dianne-Kelli Daku of Regina and her children, Kristopher, Gregory and Kevin; one son, Joseph (Eunice) of Kipling and their children, Karen and Adrienne; three sisters, Grace Kodmaa of Whitewood, Eliora Bague of Regina, Violet Highmoon of Windthorst; one brother Ernest Kish of Kipling; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Zion United Church, 120 Broad Street, Regina with Rev. David Hoffman officiating. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
