Obituary of Glennys Lorraine FRASER

GLENNYS LORRAINE FRASER October 5, 1952 - January 29, 2007 Glennys was born in Kipling, Sask. on October 5, 1952 weighing 3 lbs. 2 oz. She moved with her family to Regina in 1961so that she could attend Harrow Degroot School for Special Needs children. At 18 years, she was transferred to the newly opened Cosmo Learning Center and was still attending Cosmo at the time of her death. In 1986, her parents entrusted their beloved daughter to the care of Sr. Marion McGuigan of Kramer Home. For twenty years, the Sisters of Our Lady of Missions devoted their life's work to the love and care of the residents of Kramer and Garritty Homes of Regina. Sr. Marion, Sr. Isabel, Sr. Leonella, Sr. Germaine, Sr. Carmel of New Zealand and Sr. Jessie and Lika of Western Samoa all provided a loving and safe home to the residents and families of Kramer Home. Glennys leaves behind a brother Bob Fraser of Ottawa, (Vivian Mahoney of Saskatoon); sister Barbara Fraser of North Vancouver; nephew Devon Fraser and niece Laura Fraser of Ottawa; as well as many cousins of the Smulan family. She also leaves her special Kramer family, Grant Schaffer, Stevie Fraser, Susan Meckling, Victor Donnelly and Marlene Resch. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in Little Flower R. C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Bill Mahoney presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
