Obituary of Adam George Walbaum

WALBAUM - Adam George, born May 25th, 1919, died at the Pasqua Hospital on Sunday, February 4th, 2007. Adam was predeceased by his parents Peter and Caroline; brothers Andy and Joe; and grandson Bob Anderson. Adam is survived by his wife, Millie; daughters, Beth (Dale), Deb; sons, Harold (Judy), Bob, Terry (Elaine); ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers. Adams life focused on family activities that became special to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed both playing and watching curling and fastball and a good game of cards in which his competitive spirit would appear. He passed his knowledge of these activities to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in many fun-filled family sessions. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Interment of ashes to be held on May 26th at Heward Cemetery.
