BOURRET - On Wednesday, February 7, 2007 Kathleen Marie Bourret (nee Olson), late of Regina, passed away three days after her 80th birthday. Predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Margaret; her sister, Lillian; brother, William; Kathleen is survived by husband, Fernand; daughter Eileen (Morrie) and children, Michael, Daniel, David; son Roger (Holly) and children Lee (Lixia), Michelle (Michael), Michael (Mardy), Simon; son Patrick (Debbie) and children, Dawn (Steve), Lisa (Rob), Andrea (Kyle); son Michael (Lavonne) and children, Lindsay, Jeffrey, Kyle; daughter, Marie (Andy) and children, Devin, Meagan, Lauren; great-grandchildren, Illyana, Emma, Aiden, Madison, Jaida, McKenna; Kathleen is also survived by twin sister, Eileen of Vancouver sister, Frances of Vancouver, sister, Theresa of Regina. Kathleen was born in Regina, SK on February 4, 1927. She was raised in Regina and Lebret, SK. After marrying Fernand Bourret, June 21, 1949, they lived four years in Lille, France. In 1953, Kathleen and family left France and moved to Moncton, NB. In 1959 the family moved back to Regina where she spent the remainder of her life. She enjoyed the family cottage at Como Park (Katepwa Lake) where the grandchildren kept her busy. She also enjoyed going for walks and knitting and crocheting. The grandkids were sure to find knit slippers in their stockings at Christmas time. A service to celebrate Kathleens life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. Special thanks to the staff of 4C at the Pasqua Hospital and Elmview Extendicare. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
