Obituary of Margaret Ruth Sutherland

SUTHERLAND ? On Friday, February 9, 2007 Margaret Ruth Sutherland (nee MacKay) passed away at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her first husband Jim Mylrea and her second husband John Sutherland; her parents Robert and Elizabeth MacKay; two brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her nieces, Melva (Don) Towne, Dorothy Nicholls, Carol, MacKay; her nephews, Ed (Janet) Rossie, Bob (Barb) MacKay, Bill (Jeannette) MacKay; sister-in-law Phyllis MacKay; step-son Jack Sutherland; step-daughter Lyn Spilchuck and all their families. At Margaret?s request there will be no funeral service. Cremation. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East with Rev. Dennis Irving officiating. A Memorial Tea to celebrate Margaret?s life will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Many thanks to the nurses in Unit 4A and 4B at the Pasqua Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memoriam, to a charity of choice.
