Obituary of Hendrick (Henry) de Jong

de JONG - Henry passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years, with his loving family by his side, on Thursday, February 15, 2007. We will all miss Grandpa so much, and each of us will keep such happy memories of him in our hearts. He was the kindest, most generous man, who was always there with a helping hand. We will remember the sound of his laughter, and his great sense of humour. Henry was predeceased by his wife Harmina in 1975; his parents; his brother Molle (Anne), and two brothers and two sisters in Holland. He is survived by his brother Garrett (Ellen); three sons, John (Susan), Jerry (Holly) and Joseph; two daughters, Gail (Bush) and Sandy (Brad); six grandchildren, Steven, Susanna, Tony, Matthew, Austin and Travis; great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many friends and his little buddy Scooby. Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 7008 Rochdale Blvd., Regina, with Mr. Randy Babiuk officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers most gratefully declined.
