Obituary of August Nagel

NAGEL, August - August was born April 2, 1931 and passed away at Regina Pioneer Village on Thursday, February 15th, 2007. August is predeceased by his parents Aloisius and Marianna. He is survived by his loving wife, Irene; daughter Srilanka (Trevor); sons, Richard (Theresa) and Ronald; step-children, John and Robert Wingert and Janice Erdmann; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister Tillie (Arnold) Hodel; four brothers, Joe (Annie), Rochus (Karen), George (Sylvia) in Germany and John (Lucie) in Quebec; plus numerous nieces and nephews. August loved to play golf, shuffleboard and cribbage. He was a member of the Army, Navy and Airforce Veterans. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, with Rev. John Weckend presiding. Interment of ashes will be at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined.
