Obituary of Helen Flore RANDALL

RANDALL - Helen passed away peacefully at the Regina General Hospital on February 16, 2007, surrounded by the love of her family. Helen was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba on May 11, 1921. She spent her childhood in Cornwall, Ontario and moved to Montreal, Quebec to work during WWII. As a young French Canadian wife they traveled back to Saskatchewan to begin their life together. She devoted her life to the raising of her family of three sons and five daughters. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, Alton, her children Robert (Ginny), Marilyn (Ray Opitz), Val (Daniel Fedorowich), Eileen (Lloyd Winters), Ed (Maggie), Bill (Susan), Lynn (Terry Hart) and Vicky. She is also survived by two brothers; Paul LaPlante (Rita), Edward LaPlante (Lorraine); sister-in-law Helene Eberts; and brother-in-law Len Randall (Vi). Helen was a loving wife and wonderful grandmother to seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren. Helen enjoyed Sunday family get-togethers, her years as a "Snowbird, playing cards and knitting slippers for her family along with numerous other hobbies.
