Obituary of Frank Szafron

SZAFRON - Frank Szafron passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 18, 2007, at the age of 79 years. Frank was predeceased by his parents John Sr. and Annie Maria; wife Gladys; daughter Lynn; sister Mary (Jim) Lasek; brothers, Walter (Ruby) and John Jr. (Dorothy). Frank is survived by his son Garry (Marita); son-in-law Bob; grandchildren, Scott (Kelly) Hischebett and their son Jack, Ryan Hischebett and Jill Hischebett; sisters, Lena Clark and Annie Marositca; brothers, Louis, Stan, George and Joe Szafron. Frank worked with the Department of Highways for thirty-five years, and traveled throughout the sunny province of Saskatchewan, from border to border and highway to highway. He later retired in 1984 and became an avid mechanic, gardener, bird watcher and story teller. Funeral Service will be held in St. James United Church, 4506 Sherwood Drive, Regina on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Robin Osbourne officiating.
