Obituary of Margaret Maystruck

MAYSTRUCK - Margaret Maystruck passed away peacefully with her immediate family by her side, on Monday, February 26, 2007 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband, Fred; her parents Vasile and Viorica Giofu; and brother John and sister Katerina; Margaret is survived by her beloved children: Gary (Bonnie), Lyle (Shannon) of Regina, six cherished grandchildren Wesley (Marcie), Riley (Rachel), Amy, Jeffrey, Tami (Mike), Kayla (Grant), and one great-grandchild McKensi; brothers George and Constantine; sisters Elaine Szabo and Irene Sheppard; long-life friend Ann Suirko; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. in St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 2005 Edgar St., Regina, with Fr. Cosmin Sicoe officiating. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2007 in St. George Orthodox Cathedral. The family expresses their sincere appreciation for the care, comfort and love extended to Margaret by the caregivers at Sunset Extendicare Nursing Home. Flowers gratefully declined.
