Obituary of Margaret Alice JENSEN

JENSEN - On Wednesday, March 7, 2007, Margaret Jensen, formerly of Roberts Plaza, Regina, passed away at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her parents, John and Signa Jensen; two sisters, Zelda (Sally) Downey and Jean (Charlie) Smith. Margaret is survived by her nieces, Barbara (Lawrie) Johns and their children, Kevin and Brian of Richmond, BC; Ann Marie (Norm) Francis of Craik, SK and their son, Owen (Karen) and their children, Ryan and Erin of Hanna, AB; nephew, Jack (Michele) Smith and their children Amber and Clayton of Craik, SK; as well as the Downey relatives and several cousins. Margaret lived in Regina most of her adult life. She began working as a teacher and later moved to the Saskatchewan Correspondence School where she held the position of Vice Principal at the time of her retirement. She was an avid Roughrider fan and season ticket holder for many years. She was also a true Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expos fan and kept score for all televised major league games. Margaret spent many contented hours doing crossword puzzles. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Annes R. C. Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent with Rev.
