Obituary of Theresa Bauman

Theresa Bauman passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, March 10, 2007 in Regina. Theresa brought great kindness and joy to the world and will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Born March 6, 1918 to John and Apelonia Beler in Billimun Saskatchewan, Theresa lived, married, and raised a family all in a long and productive life spent in Saskatchewan - the place she always happily called home. Theresa is predeceased by her parents; husband Roy; grand children Timothy and Quinn; brothers George, John, Frank, Robert; and sisters Katherine and Mary. Theresa is survived by daughters Bernice (Con) Olson, Lenore Bauman, Joyce (Randy) Lowerison; son, Larry (Sandhya) Bauman; brother, Joseph Beler; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. A longtime member of the Little Flower Catholic Womens League, Theresa found great friendship and support in the CWL but also gave generously of her time, energy, and resources to many other causes. The past few years Theresa enjoyed life at the Bentley-at-Hillsdale retirement community and the family would like to especially thank the staff and residents of the Bentley for their kindness and support. A funeral mass celebrating Theresas life will be held in Regina on Thursday, March 15, 1:30 PM, at Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, 420 College Avenue. The family gratefully declines gifts or flowers, suggesting instead a donation in Theresas name to a charity of choice. Theresa Bauman lived her life quietly, humbly, and with simple grace.
